SenseTech Urology is developing the SenseUrine, a wearable biofeedback device for managing and treating urinary incontinence, based on a novel heat flow sensor (patent pending). The SenseUrine will continuously measure the urine volume in the bladder and alarm the patient before wetting and according to a bladder retraining program (behavioral treatment). The device is fully passive, non-invasive and, compact and easy to use.
 
By using the SenseUrine for biofeedback retraining, patients can gradually improve bladder control, and thus manage normal, healthy, productive and active lifestyle.
The novel heat flow sensor will be implemented in the future into other medical applications, such as CHF (congestive heart failure), and general application, such as soil humidity.

PROJECT STATUS
Feasibility study of prototype sensor is planned to November 2006.
Clinical trials are planned to June 2007.
Production of zero series is planned to November 2007.
